“I know I am supposed to love life, but it seems like sometimes I hate it. Its seems like sometimes all of life piles against me, and its too hard to stay afloat!”

I know, I know, I know. . . What is this life and why does it seem like such a hard struggle?
Sometimes it feels like the other side of our goals is too far away or that things NEVER change, no matter how hard you try to change them. It seems like “CONDITIONS PERSIST“, no matter how much you resist.
Well, there is a KEY in that last statement. “RESIST!” The first thing we always want to do when a condition or problem or issue happens is to naturally resist it. Its the LOGICAL thing. But, in the Bible we see a clue which says: “turn the other cheek”, and also “a soft answer turns away wrath“. In other teachings we hear the term “flow like the river.”
What are these things telling us about handling lifes issues, and problems and struggles?
I think a lot of it has to do with feelings and emotions. And those, being the starting place of any change. Abraham Hicks says: “You can’t get there from here“. Meaning you cant get from anger or blame to happiness. No road exists. You can’t be angry about a financial condition, or issue or relationship conflict or any conflict in life from a and positively change it. Just like the saying: “2 wrongs don’t make a right.” You can’t be angry about not having something you want and then get it.
So, what is the secret of peace, harmony and love? WHat is the secret to happiness, joy and flow?
Merging With “What-is,” Acceptance:
It seems there is a trick to understanding how to overcome and rise above and handle some issue you may have in life, and it is not what you initially thought it would be. It seems you must come to aplace of gratitude, appreciation and acceptance of “what is,” and come to peace with it, and merge with it and then you will grow through it and on to healing it, and to a better place.
When your angry you cant ask the core question thats sets you free from the bondoge of negative emotions. When things happen to us in life, or when we experience something that hurts us often we respond naturally with the matching negative energy. For example, the harder the guy hits you, the more angry you are. The pain often equals the negative emotion response in you.
What is Transmutation?
In saying all of this we come to the magical word “Transmutation“. Transmute means to change, to cause something to convert from one energy to another energy. It’s an energetic or (emotional) shift. Someone once said that: “When you change the way you look at something, then what your looking at changes“. Questions seem to be the KEY to getting yourself emotionally in the right place to be able to cause and effect in your conditions and change them.
Asking The Right Questions:
One pivotal question I always ask myself is: “How can I make this thing GOOD?” One of my mentors Force Chamberlain once told me: “You are not here to make all the right decisions; you are here to make all your decisions go right.” This changed my life! At the time I was being very hard on myself about choices I had made in life, and the moment Force said that comment to me… I melted.
Blaming Ourselves Vs. Loving Ourselves:
We are so hard on ourselves, and a friend told me tonight that often when we think we are mad at someone else, we will find under all the layers, that in fact; “We are mad at ourselves for letting our boundaries get crossed.” It all comes down to managing the emotions of what you’re feeling in this moment about the thing you are dealing with and want to change. You always will feel a certain way about the things we experience in life; the key seems to work on your inner emotions regarding how you are seeing and feeling about the thing. The STORY!
There is a STORY that we are hearing or telling ourselves about everything we experience.
WHAT STORIES ARE YOU TELLING?
That story determines what the event or condition means to you. When you can work with MEANING and your STORY. You can learn to tell a different story about the experience. When you learn to tell a more meaningful, self-accepting and healthy story about your pain, or your condition and magically the thing will begin to change. The inner negative emotions will begin to transmute into positive emotions, therefore altering your emotional core. Telling a new story allows you to shift from negative outlook and response to positive, hence getting you back on the loving flow of Life. In this place, you won’t be RESISTING, you are flowing with and by way of positive thinking, positive emotions and raising your vibrational tone, you are now going to attract to you the better versions of your reality.
Resistance Vs. Acceptance:
Acceptance does not mean being weak and bowing down and it doesnt mean apathy or giving up when you shift into acceptance. It means you accept in faith that Life DOES have GOOD planned for you, and Life does want you to grow, heal and become your truest happiest and most product self. It means that you surrender the negative emotions like blame, hate, anger, resentment and you flow into a place of acceptane and the next shift is appreciation. Its one thing to accept something to be at peace with it. But its another leval of love to appreciate something!
How can you appreciate a flat tire? By realizing you were protected by the flat tire going bad vs. blowing out at 80MPH on the freeway and dying. You appreciate a negative experience by seeing and finding and discovering HOW the experience can be your TEACHER and help you GROW> This leads you to STRENGTH, and POWER in a time of need. It empowers you literally with positive emotions, and positive inner outlooks on yourself and the thing your feeling or experience.
HOW CAN THIS HELP ME GROW?
This is the fundamental empowering thing that squares you up with life straitly and helps you find center, find and create positive meaning and it’s the moment that you become BIGGER than the thing you’re experiencing that’s negative. It’s the moment you are free from being controlled by your feelings and emotions. When you can practice this and Master it, then you would master TRANSMUTATION!
I think that’s why we are here. This is what we are here to learn and to gain freedom from. There are many reasons, and meanings in life. To flip something from detrimental to survival to helpful for your growth and survival.
HOW MANY OF THEM CAN YOU FIND THAT ARE GOOD AND MEANINGFUL?
