“We think and think and think. But when do we stop all the activity, all the forcing—and simply sit, listen, and feel?”

We live in a society obsessed with thinking. We analyze, compare, strategize, coach, pray, read, and mentor ourselves into mental exhaustion. But how often do we pause the noise, the logic, the pressure—and just feel?

The mind is what makes us human. It is the most powerful “computer” in the universe. But as powerful as it is, it’s not where we are meant to live.

We often try to reason our way through life—choosing careers that make sense, and decisions that are stable and logical.
But that’s not how the spiritual world works.

The mind only operates according to known physical laws:
The Law of Time. The Law of Distance. The Law of Gravity. The Law of Death.
But the spirit is not bound by these.

In the spirit world, distance doesn’t exist. Lovers can feel each other across oceans. A prayer can reach the other side of the world.

There are two “universes” we live in each day:

At any given moment, we are closer to one than the other.

One is rooted in reality, limitations, and logic.
The other is rooted in faith, vision, and possibility.

One makes you contract.
The other expands you.

Personal Example: Sell Majestic Lighting Design

I started my outdoor lighting company at around 20 years old. I had been in college, studying psychology and counseling, and I loved it. But I calculated that I could make more money running a business than becoming a counselor. So I left school and launched Majestic Lighting Design.

In my youth, I didn’t realize how important the heart is.

When you seek mentorship from people who are not led by their hearts, they’ll guide you to ignore your own heart too.
Business mentors often say:

“Make the money first. Chase your heart later.”

That might be the most beautiful lie the devil ever told.

I can only imagine how many books could have been written, how many courses launched, families built, and lives transformed—if only people had followed their hearts instead of chasing material wealth.

Because at the end of the road of the heart is abundance—both spiritual and material.

I don’t believe we were created to be poor, broken, or lost in a world of limitless provision.
I believe we were each given inherent gifts, and that using them leads to our abundance.

But I ignored mine.

I built the company. I grew it. But I never went back to college. And I regretted it every day.

I could have been a psychologist. A healer. A guide.

I remember sitting on a bench in The Woodlands, Texas, by the waterway—watching the sunset with a cigar in hand.
And all I felt was disgusting frustration.

I had spent 20 years chasing wealth instead of pursuing what I loved.
And I never even made the wealth I thought I would.

The Moment I Heard the Voice

I had prayed for years about what to do with Majestic.
It wasn’t growing. It wasn’t fulfilling. I hated it.

Then one day, in a moment of surrender, a voice came down—clear and undeniable:

“Sell the company.”

It didn’t make sense.
I knew I wouldn’t get much money for it.
But I agreed. I knew I’d either sell it—or shut it down.

In that moment, I chose to follow my dream:
To return to psychology, to write books, to create courses, and to build MultiGen Mindset Institute.

The moment I surrendered the company, I was filled with more energy, clarity, and inspiration than I had felt in 20 years.

The next four months unfolded magically—better than I could have imagined.

It was like the universe had just been waiting for me to get into alignment.

The Universe Follows Your Heart

When I followed my heart, everything aligned.
When I ignored it, everything resisted me.

It’s like there are different levels of resistance in life, depending on whether we’re operating from spiritual flow or physical force.

When we move in alignment with our heart, with truth, with love—the universe confirms it.
When we move in opposition to it, the signs come:
Discomfort. Delay. Breakdown. Blockage.

The message becomes clear:

“You’re ignoring something important.”

Final Reflection

My message to you is this:

Stop. Breathe. Reflect.

Ask yourself, “What do I truly want most in this life?”

Then listen.

The mind will give you logic.
The heart will give you life.
